FINANCE & BANKING

This educational program is focused on preparing highly qualified specialists with innovative thinking who have professional competencies and practical skills of public and corporate finance management. Students gain knowledge of the basics of financial, crisis, budget, tax, insurance, and banking management as well as can work in financial corporations, banking institutions, investment funds, insurance and pension companies, international financial organizations, all forms of ownership enterprises of public and local administration.

Creating a completely new curriculum for teaching banking and financial technology could include the following key components:

  • Fundamentals of Finance: Introduction to basic concepts of finance, including asset and
     liability management, financial analysis and investment valuation.
  • Banking: Study of the structure of the banking system, functions of banks, mechanismslending, risk management and banking regulation.
  • Financial technology (FinTech): Review of modern technologies used in the financial sector, such as blockchain, digital currencies, robotic processes, their impact on the
    banking and financial industries.
  • Digital transformation in the banking sector: Process research digitalization of banking services, development of digital strategies, adaptation to changing customer needs.
  • Data analysis and machine learning in finance: Application of data analysis and machine learning methods to predict market trends, risks and make financial decisions.
  • Financial cybersecurity: Training in methods of protecting financial data and information systems from cyber attacks, as well as developing strategies to respond to security
    incidents.
  • Innovation in finance: Study of new trends and innovative approaches in finance, such as digital payments, crowdfunding, robo-investing, etc.
  • Ethics and regulation in the financial sector: Consideration of ethical issues financial conduct, compliance with laws and regulations in the financial industry.
